What is neohumanism?
Neohumanism is a philosophy developed by P R Sarkar, the founder of Ananda Marga. It is an expansion of traditional Humanism that promotes universal love, respect, and welfare for all beings- human, animals plants and even the environment.
CORE Idea of Neohumanism :
The love must be extended to all living and non -living entities. The entire universe is part of one universal family ( Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ).
KEY Principle :
1. Expansion of love (Universalism)-
Go beyond narrow identities like cast, religion and nationality. Develop cosmic love for all beings.
2. Liberation of Intellect:
Free the mind from dogmas, superstitions, blind beliefs.
Human sentiment, Socio-sentiment, and Geo-sentiment.
Encourage national thinking + spiritual awareness.
3. Love for all beings:
Promote kindness toward- animals, plants ,nature.
Encourage ecological balance and sustainability.
